BuildX by Resourcio — Last updated April 2026. The fundamental rules governing our 6-week online buildathon.

Introduction

BuildX by Resourcio is a structured multi-round online buildathon organized by Resourcio Community and powered by Resourcio.

By registering and participating in BuildX, participants agree to abide by the following terms and conditions and the official Rules & Regulations.

Eligibility

The event is open to students, developers, and working professionals globally.

Participants must register through the official platform.

Participants can join individually or in teams of up to 4 members.

Participation Guidelines

All participants must actively engage throughout the event duration.

Teams are expected to submit weekly progress updates.

Inactive participants or teams may be disqualified at the discretion of the organizers.

Project Requirements

Projects must be developed during the official BuildX timeline.

Participants may use open-source tools, APIs, and frameworks.

Any pre-existing work must be clearly disclosed and should demonstrate significant improvements during the event.

Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to maintain respectful and professional behavior.

Avoid harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct.

Follow community guidelines set by the organizers. Violation may lead to immediate disqualification.

Intellectual Property

Participants retain full ownership of their projects.

By participating, teams grant organizers the right to showcase their projects for promotional purposes.

Judging & Evaluation

Projects will be evaluated based on predefined criteria such as innovation, execution, impact, and design.

Judges' decisions are final and binding.

Prizes & Rewards

Prizes will be awarded as per the official prize structure.

Funding opportunities are not guaranteed and are subject to external evaluation.

Organizers reserve the right to modify prize distribution if required.

Disqualification

Participants may be disqualified for plagiarism, copying projects, violation of rules, or providing false information.

Liability

Organizers are not responsible for any technical issues, losses, or damages incurred during participation.

Participants are responsible for their own work and submissions.

Organizers reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time.

Any changes will be communicated through official channels.
